Product Description
HECELLOSE SBHV is a bio-stable Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC) grade used as a thickener and rheology modifier in water-based systems.
- It is a non-ionic, water-soluble polymer additive
- Designed for high viscosity development
- Mainly used in water-based paints and coatings
It is NOT a styrene acrylic emulsion, but an additive used along with emulsions.
Key Properties- Very high viscosity grade (Ë 4,800-6,000 cps at 1% solution)
- Excellent thickening efficiency
- Provides pseudoplastic flow (shear thinning behavior)
