Preventol D7

PreventolD7 (sometimes styled PreventolD7) is an aqueous biocide / preservative formulation based on isothiazolinones (CMIT/MIT) used to protect waterborne systems from microbial spoilage.

It is designed for incan preservation of aqueous coatings, polymer dispersions, filler suspensions, adhesives, thickeners, oil emulsions, polishes, surfactants, detergents, and cleaners.

It is also used in industrial water systems (e.g. cooling water) and for microbial control in various aqueous formulations.
